Clostridium perfringens


This picture shows Clostridium perfringens after Gram staining. It indicates that they are Gram positive bacilli.

Staphylococcus aureus


This picture shows Staphylococcus aureus after Gram staining. It shows that they are Gram positive cocci in irregular clusters.


On the left, the plate shows a positive staphyloccus infection. Whereas on the right, the plate shows a positive streptococcus infection and with the halo effect that shows specifically a beta-hemolytic group A.
